We want to create UDF to perform some text manilulation like Oracle UDF's.
To Evaluatet he effectiveness of these function we are planing to compare CPU utilization for the query using these UDF's and find equavalent SQL code perform the same functionality.
Our Question is: Do CPU accouting for the session recorded in DBQL table will include the CPU seconds spent runnint the C code called by these delpoled UDF's.
we are worried that the comparision will be cumbersome of the DBQL CPU Accounting will not include the CPU seconds spent on the any UDF's
